Achievements and Success

AWRC major achievement in 2014:

  • 600 square meter land was purchased for construction of STEP institute building in Parwan province
  • 1 women’s cooperative established in Kapisa provinces
  • 1 training center built in Istalif district
  • 30  provincial council candidates were supported through AWRC leadership program
  • 15 media staff were trained on sensitive reporting.
  • 6 CDC plans reviewed and advocacy action plan developed to promotes women’s leadership at CDC level.
